Be sure to pick up your August 2008 issue of Dressage Today Magazine. Thomas Ritter's article on Suppling the Horse with Flexions is the Feature Training Article, and it is the Annual Baroque Horse Issue so it is full of lovely photos. The photos for Thomas' 9-page article were all taken by our Photographer, Sara Stafford and feature four Lipizzans. The July 12, 2008 White Horse Vale Lipizzan Performances were an even bigger success than previous years' performances. Each Performance proves to be better than the ones beforehand. Our next Performance is Saturday, August 30, 2008. Show begins at 11:00am, but please plan to arrive early to get the best seats. Admission is $10 Adults; $5.00 Ages 6-18: Children 5 and Under are Free. Discounts available for large groups.
Lipizzan Evaluations:
Our August 30th Performance will be followed by the 2008 Lipizzan Breed Evaluations on Sunday, August 31st conducted by Dr. Jaromir Oulehla, the retired Director of the Spanish Riding School and Piber Stud Farm. Outside Lipizzans are welcome. Spectators are welcome. The Evaluations will be followed by a Breeder's Seminar on Monday, September 1st. please contact the Farm Owner, June Boardman at whv@gorge.net or call at (509) 773-5222 for information.
